What you'll love to cook when days are longer, getting warmer and everyone is in the mood for the freshest food

We're Loving Lemon Our favorite ways to cook with lemon

The sunny taste of lemon is a delicious way to "bring the spring" to your special meals and your favorite every day recipes

  1. Make Lemony Scones! Replace the butter in your fave scones recipe with extravaGONZO Meyer Lemon Oil. Use ¾ cup oil for every 1 cup butter called for. Add strawberry jam or orange marmalade to finished scones and prepare to wow your fans.

  2. Create a honey-lemon sweet sauce. Whisk together equal parts extravaGONZO Meyer Lemon Oil with fresh-squeezed  lemon juice, and add a spoonful of honey to taste. Drizzle this on sliced fresh fruits or warmed pastries for a sweet surprise.

  3. Perfect your pilafs. Add a drizzle of extravaGONZO Meyer Lemon Oil into the cooked grains of your favorite pilaf recipe, then add fresh vegetables and seasonings. Adds just the right touch of lemon to spruce it up for spring!

  4. Craving a citrus slaw? extravaGONZO Meyer Lemon Oil is fabulous in a simple slaw of shredded veggies (mix cabbage, carrots, fennel, red onion, bell peppers, and/or basil). Next, whip up a vinaigrette with Meyer Lemon Oil, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper, and a dollop of honey. Nothing says spring like a citrus slaw!

  5. Drizzle it! On just about anything. Steamed veggies, grilled fish, even vanilla ice cream. Trust us, these fresh takes on old standbys will definitely put a spring in your step (well, in the kitchen at least!).
