Grilled Peaches with Honey & Lemon

  • 2 ripe peaches

  • 1 tsp extravaGONZO Meyer Lemon Oil

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp .cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup fresh berries

  • lemon zest for garnish

  1. Preheat grill to a low. Brush a little Meyer Lemon oil on the grill.

  2. Slice the peaches in half, making sure you cut them right through the center so both halves will have a hollow when the pit is removed. Twist to separate the halves and remove pit.

  3. Brush the cut sides with Meyer Lemon Oil. Place cut side down on the grill.

  4. While peaches grill, heat the honey and lemon juice in a small saucepan on low until just combined. Stir in the vanilla and the cinnamon.

  5. Remove the peaches from the grill when once warmed and have nice grill marks on the cut side - about 4 to 6 minutes - depending on the temperature of your grill and the ripeness of your peaches.

  6. Drizzle with the honey lemon mixture and top with a fresh berries & lemon zest.

Tom's Tip

This dish is amazing over good quality vanilla ice cream and/or with a dollop of creme fraiche on the side. A simple yet oh, so elegant dessert.
