Garlic and Thyme Green Beans

  1. Heat ExtravaGONZO Roasted Garlic Oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

  2. Add green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, until starting to soften and brown, about 8 minutes.

  3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, another 2 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, stirring well.

Tom's Tip

You can add slivered almonds to this recipe for added texture and crunch! Or try a different spin on this recipe by substituting our Meyer Lemon Oil for the Roasted Garlic.

  • 1  tablespoon ExtravaGONZO Roasted Garlic Oil

  • 1 1/2  pounds  green beans, trimmed

  • 2  tablespoons minced garlic

  • 1/2  teaspoon kosher sea salt

  • 2  teaspoons  chopped fresh thyme leaves

  • 1  tablespoon fresh lemon juice (orange juice or ¼-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes)

  • 1/4  teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon additional ExtravaGONZO Roasted Garlic Oil
